tA-Kane tA-Kane Crack Baby Registered: 01/30/01 Posts: 2272 Loc: Sugar Land, TX, USA	So, a coworker had an 8GB iPod Touch. He said I could have it for $75. I told him that's cool, I'll get it to him in cash next week and asked if I could hold onto it in the meanwhile. He's like... yeah that's cool. So like... am I getting ripped off? And the 8GB models aren't really new, they're just what remains of last years stock.(I'd forgotten they were still made in that size.) Also check in the headphone jack, see if there's any pink indicating liquid damage. I frequently see people who buy products off friends or ebay, and they bring it in to the store with problems and was physically damaged by the previous owner and denied warranty coverage, so they just got rid of it to some unknowing chump. _________________________ Signature

The back is scratched pretty well so it was difficult to read that extremely small text. The front, however, shows no indication of problems. There were plenty of fingerprints (not unexpected) but I cleaned them off with a dry non-scratch cloth. The headphone jack also does not show any pink. I won't receive the data/power cable until middle of this week. It has had no prior service or repairs as far as I can tell. I'd say if it works it's safe to assume you got a reasonably decent deal. The 2nd generation 8GB iPod touches are still sold new for $199 US. The only differences being a somewhat faster processor, built in speaker and volume control buttons and ah.. yea thats about it. _________________________ Signature
