I'm hungover. And yeah I guess I wasn't bad at UT back in the day. If Valve ever did Half Life for Mac, we totally should have played Counter Strike. I killed that shit.

You were pimp with the flak-cannon

But I'm better than you at Counter Strike.

These days I play a good amount of Urban Terror. Everybody should! It's free, runs on OSX, and fun as fuck.

Urban Terror? Was that that Q3 mod? I really enjoyed the heck out of that but there weren't enough servers when I was playing.

I'm obviously way better at CS.

Dude, the only thing that's obvious is that you're confused.

http://www.urbanterror.net/

No longer requires Q3

I'll pop my head in to say hello, sadly the original log-in info is long gone. Clan_mAc was integral to my formative years, BW fiending and friday night meetings b.net which resorted to endless cursing and /me "slap" etc. Good times. My alias then was sublime_punk and mAc_Punk later on. I still talk with Hunter now and again on w3 TFT, in the f00lish EMF, chat about life, his kid and so on.

Recently I spent 11 months in Chengdu China working on relief efforts after the Sichuan earthquake. I also studied at 2 chinese universities and my spoken Chinese is decent now. I witnessed the plague of Asian internet cafés in which gamers sit for 6-12 hours chain-smoking and playing pirated games. It costs about 50 cents to $1 per hour, and every computer has literally every game ever released as there are no piracy laws.

I haven't really been gaming, I just graduated (1 semester late) from the University of Vermont with a degree in Anthropology and Environmental Studies. When not reading Foucault or Graeber or Chomsky, you can find me on my mountain bike in pursuit of fresh injuries. Don't play bass as much as I'd like but I did do a couple concerts in China for various promotions...

I came across the site after d/ling Deus-Ex which I am now addicted to. The return to Classic gave me nostalgia of the good ol' days. I'm in the states till April 15, when I'll return to China to work at the Shanghai Expo. Glad to re-connect.

Peace.

ok i feel foolish now, I cannot change this account to mAc_Punk seeing that i made a new account. But I'll be damned if I use an account registered in 2010 instead of 2001.

any ideas as to how i can

a) delete that new account
b) change name of current account to mAc_Punk
c) make my email address to this account elias.witman@gmail.com (now taken by that newbish account

d) smash the WTO and IMF

Re-installing BW anyone down for some protoss?

Food cap of 90 is stupid.

when wc3 was made, the gaming hardware of the time couldn't HANDLE a food cap over 90.

Starcraft proves you wrong - it's older and has a bigger food cap.

Starcraft still looks better than Warcraft 3 in my opinion, despite the fact that it's 2D.

Starcraft seems to be a lot more about macro strategy build lots of the same units and attack, expand, attack more. i agree i like the sci-fi feel. I was hoping d3 to be set in a starcraft setting...
